None of the refugees set to be accommodated in apartments in Castlerea next month will be single men.
Officials from the Department of Integration last night confirmed 13 families will be housed in the Riverwalk apartments from mid-June.
Some protesters in Castlerea recently claimed 52 single men would be accommodated there.
Local politicians were briefed by the department last night, and Senator Eugene Murphy says they were pleased to hear the refugees would be families.
Meanwhile, a protest will be held outside the former Park House Hotel in Edgeworthstown at 1pm today, amid concerns it'll soon accommodate refugees.
It was revealed in January the hotel had offered to house Ukrainians and this was under consideration.
