Farmers from across the province of Connacht gathered in Roscommon Town this afternoon ago for a rally organised by the IFA.
It was one of four regional rallies today with the first taking place in Cavan at 7 o' clock this morning.
Two other protests are planned for later today in Portlaoise and Cork, to protest against CAP cuts, climate change and nitrates measures, as well as suckler and dairy cow limits.
The farmers in Roscommon met at the Dr Hyde centre on the outskirts of the town, and then made their way to the Department of Agriculture offices where they were addressed by IFA President Tim Cullinane among others.
These people who came to take part in the protest told Shannonside FM news about their concerns.
