A Longford farmer says calendar farming is just one example of what is not working when it comes to working out a sustainable future for the sector.
Mervyn Waters who runs a dairy and beef farm in Killashee is one of the hundreds of farmers who took time out of a busy day earlier to join in IFA organised rallies around the country.
