Fears for jobs in Ballinasloe as workers at factory called to meeting with management

There is concern for a number of jobs in Ballinasloe this lunchtime with employees of a manufacturing plant in the town called to a meeting after 2pm.

The firm, which has been established in the town for two decades, informed workers this week of the meeting.

The company, which has a number of international sites as well, is believed to employ over one hundred people at its base in a business park in the town.
