Fianna Fáil launched their Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Ireland policies in Boyle, Co. Roscommon earlier today. Outgoing Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue and Roscommon-Galway candidate Dr. Martin Daly attended the launch at King House.
With just a week to go until polling day, Independent Ireland also launched its manifesto this morning where it commits to more investment in agriculture and fisheries. However Minister McConalogue believes Fianna Fáil's offering for agriculture and rural Ireland is by far the strongest:
