Five people have been nominated to contest Fianna Fáil's selection convention in the Roscommon-Galway constituency.
Senator Eugene Murphy, Councillors Paschal Fitzmaurice and John Keogh along with Dr Martin Daly and Malachy Hand have all been nominated.
The convention will be held in the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon town in early October.

The party is likely to select either one or two candidates to contest the general election.
Fianna Fail does not currently have a seat in the constituency.
