A film based on the life of Longford teenager Ann Lovett and her tragic death will get its world premiere in Estonia later this month.
Ann, which was filmed in Boyle last summer, will be shown to audiences at the Tallinn Black Nights International Film festival.
The film was directed by Ciaran Creagh, who told the Irish Film and Television Network website that it will also be shown at festivals in Egypt and India. He also confirmed that the process to adapt the script to a film had taken four years and he claimed it had been 'difficult' to fund the project.
The film focuses on a single day in January 1984 in the life of the 15-year-old teenager who died after giving birth to a baby at a Grotto in Granard.
