Today is the final day for the public to inspect pans for a new housing development in Ballinamore being constructed by Leitrim County Council.
Submissions on the project will still be accepted until the 24th of this month but public consultation for the housing development at the area known as Lahard ends today.
The Council is hoping to build ten new homes, and develop up to 23 car parking spaces in the site which is just north-east of the Leitrim town.
The development is a mix of two and three bedroom home sand it's hoped that the development will help reduce the housing waiting list in the area,.
According to planning documents, a total of thirty three people are on the waiting list in the area at present - with over five-hundred people in Leitrim requiring social housing.
