There are calls for the closure of a refugee centre in Drumshanbo to be delayed by at least a month.
The Lough Allen Hotel has been home to 170 Ukrainians for over two years, but they've been told to leave in less than two weeks time.
The Department of Integration has decided to close the centre at the end of May as it has a significant number of vacancies.
But there are concerns the sudden closure will badly affect refugees who work or go to school in the area.
Fine Gael councillor Enda McGloin says the closure should be delayed until the end of June for several reasons.
