Fire service tackle vehicle blaze close to former Longford hotel

Local fire services tackled a vehicle fire outside a derelict hotel in Longford in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the fire in Edgesworthtown, close to the former Park House Hotel.

Members of Edgeworthstown Fire Service attended the scene and extinguished the blaze with no injuries reported.

The scene is currently being preserved for a technical examination.
