Charges for fire services by Longford County Council doubled last year compared to 2020.
Details revealed to Councillors at the May meeting of the local authority reveal that income from fire charges grew from €125,975 in 2020 to €276,725 last year.
Parking charges also increased in year two of the pandemic, up from €403,340 in 2020 to €520,217 last year.
Planning fees also increased but there was a collapse in the number of fines issued for library books not being returned on time.
Just €360 was collected last year in fees and penalties, down from the over €5,000 collected in 2020.
