An Independent Ireland election candidate says the party has a chance to form part of the next Government. Local councillor Declan Geraghty will run in the Galway East constituency in the forthcoming General Election. It comes as his party colleague and sitting TD Michael Fitzmaurice confirmed he would be seeking re-election in Roscommon-Galway.
