The efforts of five community groups across the Shannonside Northern Sound region have been recognised this week by the National Heritage Council.
The projects were awarded for their work in preserving, protecting and promoting Ireland's heritage.
Scéalta Beo and Creative Ardagh claimed the top accolade in County Longford. Their project focused on collecting living stories.
In Roscommon, Ballinlough Digital project used technology to showcase a hidden crannog on Lough O'Flynn.
The Organic Centre in Leitrim was awarded for its programme of events during heritage week 2021.
Cavan's Jampa Ling Meditation Retreat Centre claimed the top prize in County Cavan. They recorded the memories of neighbours of Owendoon house and farm.
Meanwhile, an informational series about Castleshane estate in Monaghan received the county award.
Nationally, over 1,000 projects were considered for the awards.
