Staff and residents at a nursing home in Longford are continuing to be tested for Covid every 5 days following an oubreak of the virus earlier this month.
Over a dozen staff and residents tested positive earlier this month, resulting in visitor restrictions being implemented at Laurel lodge nursing home.
The centre has confirmed that any positive cases are being cared for in a specific ward.
Staff and residents who initially tested positive completed their period of self-isolation this week and management has confirmed that agency staff as well as additional support from the HSE has allowed adequate cover at all times.
