The Government have announced further funding for local voluntary and community organisations to help with energy costs.
The Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme sees the sector receiving a one-off contribution towards the increased energy costs they faced in 2022.
The latest tranche has seen just over €2,000 split among groups across Longford, Roscommon and Athlone.
Elphin Community Centre received €959 while St John's Community Centre and Strokestown Community Centre were awarded €472 and €200 respectively.
The Order of Malta in Athlone will also receive €200 as will the Ballinamuck Community Enterprise Group in Longford.
Leitrim didn't receive any funding in this tranche.
