Five local shops make top 100 best stores in Ireland list

Several shops in the Shannonside region have been named among the best in Ireland.

Five shops from across Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon feature in the Retail Excellence Top 100 Stores list.

Gerard Anthony Menswear Superstore, Stephen Olwell Opticians, Fabiani, Ardcarne Garden Centre and Brian Mulligan and Co.  were all named in the top 100 list.

The stores are part of the AIB Merchant Services Retail Excellence Awards, which were established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage high standards in the Irish retail industry

The Awards will take place on November 12th in the Galmont Hotel in Galway.
