People travelled from throughout the Shannonside region and further afield for the meeting in the Landmark Hotel.

Around €1 billion worth of forestry was knocked down around the country during Storm Éowyn.

Around 700 million euro worth of forestry was knocked down during Storm Eowyn, according to the Irish Forest Owners.

The event, which will take place next Tuesday evening in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick on Shannon, is aimed at people who have had their forests damaged by recent storms.
