People who like old style music and who might be feeling isolated are being encouraged to join the Forget Me Not Community Choir in south Roscommon for a Tuesday morning sing along.
The choir was formed in recent years for those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia and used to meet every fortnight at the community centre in Monksland.
When the pandemic began the choir members couldn't meet anymore but with the help of Roscommon Council they've moved online over the past month and they're inviting more people to join them.
Anne Marie Hynes leads the sing-alongs from her kitchen every Tuesday morning at 11 o' clock and says anyone who enjoys music from the 50's, 60's and 70's should try it.
Every week between 10 and 12 nursing homes connect with the sing along through zoom and Anne Marie says there's always room for more people to join in:
