A former Roscommon school principal is to be sent forward for trial in connection with a number of alleged theft and false accounting charges.
Frank Chambers, of Carnacregg, Moylough, is alleged to have committed the offences on various dates between 2012 and 2017. The alleged injuried parties include Roscommon Community College and the Galway-Roscommon Education and Training Board.
Roscommon Circuit Court heard today that there was a large amount of documentary evidence in the case and any trial could take between four and five days to complete. Judge Francis Comerford set April 30th for a pre-trial hearing in the matter.
