One man is due to appear in court in Athlone this morning on drug related charges, and three others will appear later this month.
It follows their arrests during a planned search of a house in the Valley Court area around 11 o' clock last night.
Almost €2,000 in cash, and drugs worth around €500 were taken from the scene.

All four men are understood to be in their early 20's and are facing charges related to possession of drugs for sale or supply.
Three were released on bail and are due to appear again in court on the 24th of this month, while the fourth is appearing at the Athlone court sitting today.
