Four people have been charged in relation to an alleged attempted theft that occurred at a retail premises in Carrick on Shannon earlier this week. As part of Operation Táirge, Gardaí in Carrick on Shannon arrested four people on Tuesday the 8th October.
Two men, aged in their 30s and two women, aged in their 20s were arrested after Gardaí stopped a van in Dromod shortly after the alleged incident. They were subsequently charged and appeared before Sligo District Court on Thursday, 10th October and will appear before the courts again at a later date. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
