Four people have been hospitalised after a single-car crash in Co Longford - and two of them have been seriously injured.
It happened shortly after 11.30 last night on a local road at Esker Cross in Ballinalee.
The four people in the car were brought by ambulance to Tullamore and Mullingar hospitals, including a man and a woman in their 20s, who are being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The scene is being preserved for a technical examination by garda forensic collision investigators and local diversions are in place. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
