Four people taken to hospital after collision near Longford town

Four people are reported to have been taken to hospital following a collision at the Charlotte Brooke roundabout  on the N4 this evening.

The incident  is understood to have happened just after 5 o' clock this evening, and serious traffic delays were caused as a result.

It's not known how many vehicles  were involved in the accident, but the road was cleared a short time later.

The injuries sustained by the four people are not believed to be life threatening.
