Campaigners against a proposed waste facility in Ballinasloe have expressed disappointment at another application for a permit days after a third application was deemed invalid.
Earlier this week Galway county Council rejected the submission by Bruscar Bhearna Teoranta for the development at Poolboy.
Locals opposed to the project had welcomed the news on Monday and expected that they would have a number of weeks to be able to develop another campaign of opposition before an anticpated fourth application would be lodged.
However, the company has lodged another application for a licence in the last 48 hours.
