Funding has been approved for a substantial retrofit of Longford Clinic. The busy facility operates from St Joseph's Campus on the Dublin road in the town and caters for a range of services including radiology, dental & orthodontic treatments. According to local Fianna Fail Councillor Uremu Adejimni, funds have been allocated to the refurbishment as part of the HSE's capital investment plan.
The works would see the structure receive an extensive retrofit to bring it up to current standards and environmental and energy efficiencies. Speaking to Shannonside FM News, Councillor Adejimni says a design team is hoped to be in place by next year:
