An important annual fundraiser for local Hospice services continues this weekend in Roscommon town.
Volunteers from Knockcroghery's Hospice Support Group are urging visitors to Roscommon today to support their campaign.
The annual Shine A Light for Hospice appeal has raised thousands of euro for vital services in the county.
Cards will be available to purchase at the market in the Square as part of Roscommon's Christmas Festival this weekend.
Organiser Patricia Beirne says the cards are placed on the Shine a Light tree while those named are remembered at the group's annual mass on December 30th.
