A fundraising drive is underway in Roscommon to keep a local suicide charity in operation.
Elphin SOS (Support to Overcome Suicide) was founded in 2005 following a cluster of suicides in the wider Elphin area.
The service has been running since providing free counselling to adults affected by suicide, and promoting the overall mental health and well-being of the wider community.
It costs around €1,000 per month to keep the service running and this is normally done though fund-raising.
An online raffle has now been organised with a PlayStation 5 and 2 controllers as first prize.
People can go online to elphinsos.link to buy tickets, or they can go to an existing GoFundMe page if they would like just to donate.
