A special online fundraiser is being organised to help the family of a Roscommon man who died in a car crash in New Zealand.
Declan Curley, originally from Clonark near Athlone, was killed when he was struck by a car in the suburb of Te Aro in Wellington.
The pedestrian was fatally injured in the crash which occurred just after 3am last Saturday morning.
No funeral details have yet been confirmed for the 37-year-old.
A local GAA club in Wellington has now offered its support to his family to help repatriate his body to Ireland.
Our hearthfelt sympathies are with Declan's friends, colleagues, and with his family back in home in Roscommon.
A Givealittle page has been set up to help support the family through this terrible time and beyond.

Wellington/Hutt Valley GAA club has established a 'Give a Little' page to help and support his partner and her daughter who will be accompanying him to Ireland.
They are also hoping to assist the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust which is helping the family with arrangements.
The club says the Roscommon native was loved by many and has described him as a "true gentleman" and is "so sadly missed."
Currently, over 31,000 dollars has been raised since the page was established in the last 15 hours.
