Funds are being raised to help two Roscommon teens suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy to receive life-changing treatment in the United States. In 2012, George, Isaac and Archie Naughton were diagnosed with DMD, a progressive muscle-wasting disease for which there is no treatment and no cure. The Naughton family sadly lost their son Archie to the disease in 2022.
George and Isaac have now been invited to participate in a ground-breaking clinical trial in the U.S. Speaking to Let's Talk earlier today, their mother Paula, thanked everyone who has helped with fundraising efforts over the years:
