The Roscommon man who died in a fatal road traffic collision on Monday evening, will be laid to rest on Saturday.
Popular Castlerea man, Tommy Bruen, died after he was struck by a vehicle on the R337 near Castlerea shortly after 6 o'clock.
Mr Bruen, who was in his 80s, was a well-known businessman in Castlerea and a member of a number of local clubs.
He is survived by his son Dara, daughters Grainne and Caolinn, extended family and wide circle of friends.
Mr Bruen will be laid to rest following funeral mass at St Patrick's Church, Castlerea at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning.
