The funeral for a four-year-old boy who died following a road crash in Longford last week takes place this morning.
Charlie McDonagh was killed when he was struck by a van in the Palace Crescent housing estate in Longford town last Wednesday afternoon.
His funeral mass is just underway in St Mel's Cathedral and he will be laid to rest afterward in Ballymacormack cemetery.
Motorists in the town are being warned to expect traffic delays before and after the funeral mass as the cortege makes its way to the graveyard.
