Permission is being sought for alterations to existing plans for a wind turbine in Roscommon.
The project has seen a number of attempted alterations to the original plans, with the last refused by Roscommon County in February on grounds the turbines would generate over the 5 mega watt limit.
The newest application from Peter Gillooly plans for two bespoke Enercon turbines at Derrane & Roxborough, with a proposed output of 4.9 mega watts.
Under the new plans, Turbine one would have a hub height of 99 metres and a blade tip height of 168 metres, while Turbine would have a hub height of 81 metres and a blade tip height of 150 metres.
The newly submitted application also calls for the relocation of the access road serving the development and an increase in the area of the hardstands associated with each turbine.
Roscommon County Council is due to make a decision on this latest application in the New Year.
