The 2021 GAA Championship draws which were due to take place next week have been postponed understands Shannonside sport.
The Connacht championship draw was due to take place on Monday February eighth with the other provinces due to make their draws in the following days.
However Shannonside Sport understands the draws have now being postponed until after GAA activity has resumed. Activity is currently suspended until March fifth.
It’s understood that the National Leagues will not begin before the end of March, while the All-Ireland finals are more likely to take place in August rather than July, with the possibility of further delays.
Cavan county board chairman Kieran Callaghan last week told Shannonside Sport that a meeting planned for Wednesday February third could provide some fixture clarity.
