A major search for two women missing off the coast of Galway has been called-off after they were found alive a short time ago.
The alarm was raised just after 10 o'clock last night, when a 23-year-old woman and 17-year-old girl failed to return to shore.
They had been out paddleboarding off the coast of Furbo, and were due back at half past 8.
The Irish coastguard launched an immediate search operation in the Galway Bay area.
It'as understood the two had been able to cling to fishermen's lobster pots in order to survive overnight.
They're being brought back to shore after being in the water for 15 hours.
