Garda enquiries ongoing following fire at Athlone restaurant

Garda enquiries are continuing following a fire which broke out in Athlone yesterday.
The incident occurred yesterday evening at Poppy Fields Restaurant on Payne's Lane.

Shannonside FM understands Athlone Fire Service attended the scene at approximately 10:50pm.
The fire was extinguished and the scene was examined by Gardaí.
Investigations are ongoing.
