Gardaí investigating theft of quad and power tools from Kenagh area

Gardaí in Longford are investigating the theft of a quad bike and some power tools from a farm in the Kenagh area at the weekend.

It's understood the theft happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The amount of tools stolen isn't known.

Farmers and homeowners in rural areas are being warned to be extra vigilant now that darker evenings have come in, and take measures to secure property where possible.
