Gardaí in Leitrim are appealing for information following a serious assault in Carrick-on-Shannon last month. A man was discovered on Main Street with serious head injuries at 3am on Saturday, December 21st. He was taken to Sligo University Hospital where he received treatment for a number of days following the incident.
Gardaí in Carrick-on-Shannon are now appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time. Speaking to Shannonside News, Sergeant Darren Corcoran urged witnesses to contact Carrick Garda Station:
