A man in his 30's remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was found with serious injuries in Mullingar in the early hours of yesterday morning.
It's understood the man was the victim of an assault in the town at around 1 a.m. yesterday.
Gardaí say they discovered the man with serious injuries on Grove Street.

They're appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with camera footage from Grove Street and the areas around it, between 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m., to make it available.
