Gardaí in Roscommon and Longford are appealing for witnesses following an incident of theft and criminal damage in Rooskey this week.
It's understood that three masked men entered a property on main street close to midnight on the 9th of November.
Reports claim that a catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle on the site, with the suspects disturbed during the incident.
Local Gardaí have confirmed that no arrests have yet been made but an investigation has been launched.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious over the night/morning of the 9th and 10th of November is urged to contact Roscommon Gardaí.
