Gardaí are investigating a fatal collision that happened in the early hours of this morning in Co. Meath.
It occurred shortly before 2am on Patrick Street in Trim when a car collided with a wall.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was seriously injured and taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where he later passed away.

The scene remains closed as a technical examination takes place.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí.
