Three people have been arrested following the discovery of two cannabis grow houses in the west of the country.
Gardai conducted searches of two residential properties, one at Creggs on the Galway Roscommon border and another in New Inn in East Galway.
Cannabis plants worth 228 thousand and cannabis herb worth 75 thousand euro were seized during the raids.
Two men, aged in their 20s and 40s and a woman in her 50s were arrested and are being held at a Garda Station in the county.
The searches were conducted as part of Operation Tara, the Garda national anti-drugs strategy designed to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks, at all levels.
