Gardaí in Leitrim are urging the public to report anti social behaviour at outdoor public amenity spots in the region.
The call comes following an instance of criminal damage at Spencer Harbour, near Drumkeeran.
Over night on the 17th of April, a number of items around the harbour were damaged and overturned.
Elsewhere in the county, information is being sought following the smashing of the front window of a business in Carrick on Shannon.
On the morning of the 20th of April, the window of a hair salon on Bridge Street was broken and a rock was found nearby.
Speaking on Crimeline today on the Joe Finnegan show, Garda Sergeant Darren Corcoran is urging anyone with information on either incident to contact their local Garda Station:
'In this instance, the window of a hair salon was smashed and a rock was found nearby.
We're seeking anybody who might of witnessed this to contact Carrick on Shannon Garda Station on 0719650510.
The next criminal damage incident occurred at Spencer Harbour, Drumkeeran sometime over night on Monday the 17th of April.
In this case a number of items were damaged and overturned.
This is an excellent public amenity and we're asking any person who witnessed this incident to get in contact with us.
Now that we're coming into the Summer months were urging people to report any anti-social behaviour at any outdoor public amenity they come across.'
