Gardaí call for witnesses following south Leitrim break ins

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are investigating a number of burglaries that took place last weekend.

Several homes in the south Leitrim area were targeted by the thieves sometime between late on Saturday night, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th.

A number of items were taken from several homes and Gardai are examining if there is any link between these incidents and a series of burglaries which took place in north Roscommon earlier this month.

Gardaí in Carrick-on-Shannon and Mohill are asking anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the Drumsna, Jamestown, Annadufff or Aughamore areas to contact them.
