Gardaí in Ballinasloe are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in an assault in the town this week. The alleged assault took place in the Beechlawn Heights area in Ballinasloe on Monday night at around 11 o'clock. A man in his 40s sustained serious but non life threatening injuries in the incident and was taken to Galway University Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí have launched an investigation into the alleged assault. They're appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area, or for those who have CCTV or dashcam footage from the locality to get in touch with them.
