Gardaí in Longford appeal for information regarding a recent burglary

Gardaí in Longford are appealing for information regarding a burglary this morning. The burglary occurred in the Foigha Newtowncashel area at approximately 10am.

Gardaí say they are interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the Ballymahon, Newtowncashel or Lanesborough areas between 9am-11am. They say a silver slate grey saloon car may be of interest to the investigating team. Anyone who may have any information or dash cam footage is asked to contact Longford Garda station 043 335 0570.
