A man in his 70s was allegedly assaulted during an incident in Roscommon earlier this week. Gardaí say they're investigating an assault and criminal damage in Ballaghderreen at around quarter-to-three on Monday afternoon.
They're appealing for witnesses to come forward, and anyone with dash-cam footage from the Brusna area to make it available. Enquiries are ongoing.
