Gardai are said to be following a number of lines of enquiry after an arson attack on a car in Athlone town early yesterday morning.
A car parked in the Ansfield Wood area went on fire around half past six yesterday morning, and another parked close by was also badly damaged.
Gardai believe the first car was set on fire deliberately and they're appealing for anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the general Baylough area to contact them at Athlone garda station.
