Gardai in Ballinasloe are investigating a number of arson attacks which took place over the past week.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning last, the local fire service attended a callout at a residence in a housing estate in the town.
It's understood the house was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported.

Criminal damage by fire was also caused to a second property in the town on Friday May 20th.
Emergency services responded to the call at approximately 2:15am.
Investigations are ongoing into both incidents and no arrests have been made at this time.

Gardai are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
