Gardai are investigating a number of burglaries along the Roscommon/Longford border overnight.
It's understood a number of items were taken from a residence in the Lanesborough area on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are investigating a second break-in that occurred at residence in Ballyleague.

Gardai say the incident happened at approximately 9pm however there was no report of any property stolen.
No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
