Gardaí investigating discovery of body in Roscommon

Gardaí in Roscommon are investigating the discovery of a man's body over the weekend.

The man in his 20s was discovered in Roscommon Town yesterday.

The body has been removed to the mortuary at Roscommon University Hospital, where a post mortem examination will take place at a later date.

While the results of the examination will determine the course of the investigation, it's understood that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
